Factory Tour Information

Our Factory Tour experience runs Monday to Friday during school holidays. Please check our booking calendar for available times. Pre-booking online is required to guarantee your place and secure any activity upgrades.

Visit Information

On the day of your visit, please arrive around 10 minutes before your booked time so you don’t miss the welcome video and introduction to John Bull World of Rock.

If you’ve booked an activity, you’ll receive your very own Golden Ticket – your pass to take part and a memorable souvenir from your visit!

Talk with the Team

Your visit begins with a talk from one of our skilled rock production team – feel free to ask as many questions as you like. You’ll discover how we put the letters inside a stick of rock, and you’ll have the opportunity to take part in the hands-on experience of rolling your own rock (limited spaces available).

Mini Bakery

From there, continue through the factory at your own pace. View our mini bakery through the windows and enjoy a sample of our biscuits, before heading to the chocolate production area where you can watch chocolate fish being created on the spinner.

Chocolate Decorating Activities

Here, you can also take part in one of our popular chocolate decorating activities – decorate your own Chocolate Lolly or a seasonal Easter Egg or Halloween Pumpkin to take home. These activities are especially popular with children and can be added when booking or at reception (subject to availability).

You’ll also pass through the packing area, where you can see the team at work and ask questions about what’s happening on the day.

Themed Photo Point

Don’t forget to take a photo at our themed photo point at the end of your tour – and tag us!

Self-guided

The tour is self-guided, so you can take your time, explore each area, and enjoy the variety of confectionery samples along the way.
